Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept in Geneva 2015
Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept
At the Geneva Motor Show, Bentley introduces the concept of sporty coupe EXP 10 Speed 6. A concept that could eventually go the way of marketing.
When one thinks of Bentley, we rather think big comfortable vessels or cut 2 + 2 “touring” instead of a two-seater sports coupe even if the manufacturer has in the past already marked Geneva with a sporty design, the Mulsanne, presented in 1999 (already). Moreover, this concept was already Hunaudières this English green exquisite.
Here the concept Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 total opposition to the upcoming SUV Bentagaya. Who’s complaining? “The Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 is one of the visions of the future Bentley – a powerful concept, exquisite and individual. The show car has the potential to be the new pinnacle of sports 2 luxury seats (sic). “Says Wolfgang Durheimer, CEO of Bentley.
“This could be a future model, alongside the Continental GT and redefine the pinnacle of another sector of the market and the style of the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 could influence the expansion of the Bentley family,” adds t- it.
The manufacturer secretive shows the engine of its sports coupe (6 cylinder?) But we can still admire its plastic. The lines are slender but muscular and the profile is reminiscent of some English productions like Aston Martin. But the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 retains the stylistic gimmicks brand with round optical double, large grille “screened” and the taillights and oval tailpipes. It may be noted “6” visible through the grid as racing Bentley 20/30 years.
Inside, the leather, aluminum and wood have the spotlight. The center console is a large vertical touch screen and counters also seem totally digital and displayed via a screen. The concept EXP 10 Speed 6 is named Bentley Speed Six historic 1928 derived sporting Bentley 6½ Litre, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1929 and 1930, and the EXP Speed 8 winner in 2003 of the Le Mans event. Bentley always returns to its sarthois past. When is a return to the track in LM P1?
