Geneva 2016 Renault Scenic IV
2016 Renault Scenic IV turns 20 and is renewed in the fourth generation. The style evolves and reinvents MPV to attract families in a segment the crossover competition.
Who better than Renault’s Chief Design, Laurens van den Acker to discuss the latest manufacturer in the diamond? The front is in line with that of the Qajar or Captur for example with a light signature in the form of C that remains inside of the headlights. Compared to the current stage, the new phase has a pronounced hood. This lot is changing the contours of the vehicle.
In addition to this profile vaulted ceiling, large 20-inch wheels with generous arches, the shoulder line meetings, etc. It is more like a big crossing of a conventional compact MPV (which also appears lower than the current version).
Without reaching the height of its big brother the space V, 2016 Renault Scenic IV leaves a little ‘cold, hard world of trucks, not forgetting the modularity. Firsthand the connections are well made and the new stage Renault Scenic IV presents well.
Inside the center console it is in line with the space (or Talisman and Megane) and looks more like a sedan than before a minivan. In individual rear seats disappear in favor of an independent and higher bank 1/3 to 2/3 of sliding seats. Records are electrically folding from the beginning (and the screen via a menu as the area).
The trunk seems particularly large and accessible with a very low load sill and wide opening. From a practical standpoint, the glove and the space slides. This is a very practical system that allows easy opening despite the legs of the passenger. With quantity of windscreen and the panoramic sunroof option, and landscape promises shiny. A control for a test soon.
